It’s not parenting advice. It’s emotional regulation & mental wellness skills that allow you to apply the awesome parenting skills you already have.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to parenting, but a calm and centered parent is the foundation of ANY effective strategy.

“As children develop, their brains "mirror" their parent's brain. In other words, the parent's own growth and development, or lack of those, impacts the child's brain. As parents become more aware and emotionally healthy, their children reap the rewards and move toward health as well.”

— Dr. Daniel J. Siegel

hi! i’m dr. jen.

I’m a family medicine doctor, mental health specialist, and most importantly, mom of 2 wild little ones!

Okay, here’s the truth:  When I became a parent, I felt completely blindsided. Sure, I’d read all the books, taken tons of classes, and had the benefit of lot’s of professional training… But nothing prepared for for how intense and overwhelming the emotional side of parenting would be.  As someone who typically identified as “pretty chill,” I was SHOCKED by how easily triggered I felt as a parent.

I realized I needed to learn to regulate my nervous system and manage my OWN emotions first (not just my little one’s) to actually be able to show up as the parent I wanted to be.  And through extensive training—and A LOT of practice—that became my superpower!

I created All The Family Feels to share these lessons with YOU, so you can parent with more joy and playfulness while staying regulated during even the most challenging moments.
