  • Absolutely! The tools we teach—mindfulness, nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and stress management—benefit all parents, whether you’re experiencing significant challenges or just looking for ways to improve your emotional well-being and connection with your family.

  • This depends on your starting point and how consistently you apply the tools. Some parents notice small shifts within days, while deeper changes often take weeks or months of intentional practice. Our goal is to provide strategies that create lasting transformation, not just quick fixes.

✺ Balanced Beginnings Course ✺

  • This course was created with pregnant and postpartum birthing mothers in mind. While the postpartum period is often defined as the first 12 weeks after birth, many experts agree it extends well into the first year.

That said, if you’re beyond the first year, this course can still be incredibly valuable. It will help you better understand the changes in your maternal mind and body, making sense of what you’ve experienced and what you’re still adjusting to.

  • I know you’re busy—no question about it! That’s why this course is divided into bite-sized lessons (10 in total), each lasting about 5–10 minutes. Every lesson provides clear, actionable information that fits seamlessly into the course's overall context.

From start to finish, including exercises, the course takes about 2 hours to complete. However, you can revisit sections as often as you like and go through the material at your own pace. Many moms choose to work through the course in 10–20 minute sessions over a few weeks.

  • The course is video-based—but don’t worry, it’s not just boring PowerPoints or dull slides! The videos are conversational, with helpful visuals and occasional slides to clearly explain key points. Plus, there’s a printable PDF workbook included to support the course and give you space for notes.

  • This course is packed with the information I wish I’d been given during the perinatal period but didn’t have. I truly believe it will be just as impactful for you. You’ll gain new insights into how your mind and body function during early motherhood, helping you make sense of your feelings and start managing your emotions and reactions more effectively.

You’ll learn to recognize why you’re responding the way you are in any given moment, how to monitor your nervous system, catch unhelpful automatic thoughts, and regain control over your reactions to show up as the mom you want to be. While it won’t happen overnight, this course provides the foundational knowledge to empower you to identify the changes you need to make—and as you practice, it will become easier and more natural.

Although the focus is on the mind and body during early motherhood, the lessons extend beyond this stage, offering insights into how your nervous system works and how your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors are connected. This core knowledge will not only improve your mental well-being now but continue to benefit you for the rest of your life.

  • Forever! You can watch at your own pace and revisit as often as needed. (That said, sharing your account with others will impact how we track course progress and will result in losing access to your account.)

  • I’m confident this course will give you game-changing insights and tools to help you better understand your new mom brain and body, manage your emotions, and create a calmer household. But if you complete the course and feel it wasn’t helpful (though I truly believe that won’t happen!), I’ll gladly refund your purchase within 30 days.

✺ ATFF Parent Support Group ✺

  • No, you don’t need any specific diagnosis to benefit from this group. Our focus is on supporting parents navigating the stress, emotions, and challenges of parenthood—no formal diagnosis required.

  • Unlike group therapy, peer support groups are not clinical treatment. They focus on shared experiences, connection, and practical strategies rather than structured therapeutic interventions. There’s no diagnosis, treatment plan, or therapist-led analysis—just a supportive space to learn, share, and grow.

  • Membership gives you access to three weekly Zoom meetings, short teaching lessons from Dr. Jen, structured sharing time, a monthly recap email with key insights, mindset shifts, emotional regulation strategies, and science-backed stress reduction tips.

  • The goal of the group is support the mental wellness of parents, addressing the unique mental health stressors that impact parents. That being said, many of the topics we discuss will center around some of the psychological, physical and environmental variables that impact parents in the first several years of parenthood (eg: tantrums, sleep challenges, infant care, etc). All parents are welcome, but parents in the earlier stages of parenthood will likely benefit the most.

  • No, our groups are open to anyone who identifies as a caregiver. Some of Dr. Jen’s teachings and group topics will center around physiologic changes that happen during the transition into parenthood (like hormone shifts and brain changes), but the majority of our discussions will be completely applicable to any and all caregivers.

  • Each 45-minute Zoom session begins with a short (<5 min) teaching from Dr. Jen, followed by 30 minutes of member shares (under 3 minutes per share). If all participants have had a chance to share, we may use the last 10 minutes or so for a Q&A session. Members are encouraged to listen without cross-talking, ensuring a respectful and open sharing environment.

  • Nope! If you’d rather observe, that’s great too! There is tremendous benefit in hearing others share their own stories and being able to relate and apply their situations to your own. So if you never choose to share, that fine. However, it’s also true that when you share your own stories, you often begin to connect the dots in ways you weren’t able to before, so we encourage you to share anytime you feel called - and others will benefit from your story too!

  • Due to the nature of the meeting membership format, refunds are not available. If you have any concerns about whether the group is the right fit for you, please reach out with any questions!

  • Yes! Research shows that peer support can reduce feelings of isolation, increase emotional resilience, and provide meaningful connection. Hearing others' experiences can help normalize your own struggles, offer new perspectives, and provide valuable coping strategies.

  • No, to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of our members, meetings will not be recorded. Dr. Jen does send a monthly newsletter covering key topics, highlights, teachings and resources.

✺ Virtual Care Services ✺

  • I provide care to patients in the state of Washington ONLY. I provide medical visits focused on mental health, helping parents navigate stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional regulation. While I can prescribe medication when necessary, my approach primarily emphasizes non-medication strategies such as mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and lifestyle-based interventions.

  • Do you prescribe medications:

For some patients, medication may be a beneficial part of their treatment for a certain period. As a licensed physician, I can prescribe and manage medications for patients in Washington State. However, I believe medication is most effective when combined with a comprehensive treatment plan that also addresses psychological, lifestyle, and environmental factors. Please note that I do not prescribe controlled substances at this time.

  • No, all visits are cash pay, and I do not accept insurance. However, I can provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. You may also use a Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) if your plan covers mental health services. Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend checking with your provider.

  • You can schedule an appointment through the Simple Practive EHR, which also handles payment and intake forms. Once you book, you'll receive confirmation details and any necessary paperwork to complete before your visit.

  • My approach is holistic and patient-centered, focusing on emotional regulation, nervous system health, and practical mental wellness strategies. While I can prescribe medication if clinically indicated, my goal is to help parents develop long-term tools to manage stress, overwhelm, and emotional health effectively.

  • I am licensed to treat all residents of Washington State. You MUST be a WA State resident to receive virtual care. If you are not a WA resident, you can still utilize the available self-paced courses and guides. If you would like to discuss coaching services, please contact me directly drjen@allthefamilyfeels.com.
